NAVREF Winter Workshop: Board Member Essentials

Join us for an engaging and informative workshop where participants will explore the intricacies of NPC board governance. Whether you're an experienced board member seeking to enhance your skills or someone new to the role, this workshop offers valuable insights and dispels any misconceptions about serving on an NPC board. Developed in collaboration with VA ORD, this workshop brings you the expertise of professionals who grasp the distinct challenges and opportunities within our community. Furthermore, the workshop's content is firmly grounded in standard board governance practices applicable to all nonprofit sectors. It's important to note that this workshop is not limited to board members; NPC staff members are welcome to participate as well.
If your organization is a current member of NAVREF, there will be no charge for this training other than your travel expenses, i.e., flight, per diem and hotel.

This training will take place at the Hotel Washington in Washington, DC and some parts will be broadcasted virtually, but not all. IMPORTANT NOTE: A hotel registration link will be sent out to registered attendees who plan on coming in person.

Day 1 is a full day of instruction. Breakfast will be provided by NAVREF.
